How to Properly Use CITRUS KING ® Asphalt Release Agent

Citrus Depot makes a product called Citrus King Asphalt Release Agent. It's another earth-friendly product in their line. This product is a low-odor, highly safe, and effective water-soluble asphalt release agent. Ideally it is used as an alternative to diesel fuel and other hydro-carbons. It has been designed to provide easy separation of asphalt materials from beds of dump trucks, pavers, rollers and material transfer vehicles.
Citrus Depot's Asphalt Release Agent has been specifically developed to be used with conventional hot asphalt mixes and with polymer modified asphalts. Citrus King's Asphalt Release Agent is made with all natural vegetable/plant oil, is biodegradable and can be used with all types of asphalt. It has the ability to be diluted.
Citrus King's Asphalt Release Agent has a flash point of over 260 degrees Fahrenheit and is stable from 25 degrees Fahrenheit to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. The Release Agent will not affect the bonding of the asphalt to any paving surface.

How to Apply Citrus King Asphalt Release Agent

Apply a consistent coating of Citrus King Asphalt Release Agent on tools and truck beds before contact with the asphalt. Once applied, a thin film extends out across the bed of the truck. The film prevents the asphalt from sticking to the surface of the truck bed.

Dilution Ratios for Using the Release Agent

Citrus Depot's Asphalt Release Agent is highly dilutable. For the best result possible, start with a one to one dilution. Remember, different asphalts call for different dilutions, so prepare a test first for the best possible results.
